Perhaps My Lord Will Guide Me to the Right Way

A duʿā from Sūrah Al-Qaṣaṣ in which Mūsā عليه السلام expresses hope in Allāh’s guidance while setting out uncertain of the path ahead.

عَسَىٰ رَبِّي أَن يَهْدِيَنِي سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ

Perhaps my Lord will guide me to the right way.

ʿAsā rabbī an yahdiyanī sawāʾa al-sabīl.

Context

A statement made by Mūsā عليه السلام as he leaves Makkah toward Madyan, expressing hope and reliance upon Allāh for guidance.
