My Lord, grant me an heir from among the righteous

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

My Lord, grant me an heir from among the righteous.

Rabbī hab lī minaṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

Context

When seeking Allah's blessings for righteous offspring. To ask Allah for the gift of a child who is righteous and devoted to Him.
This supplication was made by Prophet Ibrāhīm (Abraham) when he sought from Allah the blessing of a righteous child.

Benefits

This duʿā is a heartfelt plea to Allah for the blessing of a righteous child, emphasising the believer's desire for progeny that is pious and devoted to Allah.
