My Lord, expand for me my chest. And ease for me my task. And untie the knot from my tongue, so that they may understand my speech…

A duʿā from Sūrah Ṭā-Hā in which Mūsā عليه السلام asks Allāh for inner expansion, ease in his mission, clarity in speech, and support through his brother.

My Lord, expand for me my chest.
And ease for me my task.
And untie the knot from my tongue,
so that they may understand my speech.
And appoint for me a helper from my family—
Hārūn, my brother.
Strengthen through him my resolve,
and make him share in my task,
so that we may glorify You much
and remember You much.
Indeed, You are ever seeing of us.

Rabbi ishraḥ lī ṣadrī.
Wa yassir lī amrī.
Waḥlul ʿuqdatan min lisānī.
Yafqahū qawlī.
Wajʿal lī wazīran min ahlī.
Hārūna akhī.
Ushdud bihi azrī.
Wa ashrikhu fī amrī.
Kay nusabbiḥaka kathīrā.
Wa nadhkuraka kathīrā.
Innaka kunta binā baṣīrā.
