Our Lord, Judge between Us and our People in Truth, and You are the Best of those who Give Judgment.

An earnest supplication from Sūrah al-Aʿrāf where the supplicant seeks Allah’s judgment between them and their people, emphasising trust in Allah’s justice.

رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ

Our Lord, judge between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give judgment.

Rabbanā iftaḥ baynanā wa bayna qawminā bil-ḥaqqi wa anta khayrul-fātiḥīn.

Context

This duʿā can be recited when seeking Allah's judgment in matters of dispute or when faced with opposition from one's own people. To seek Allah's just judgment between oneself and others, especially in situations of conflict or disagreement.
This supplication was made by the Prophet Shuʿayb (peace be upon him) when he faced opposition from his people due to his call to monotheism and righteousness.
